Brodie’s Brigade

If you are on this page, chances are you have been following along with Brodie’s story and know what an important role the Royal Children’s Hospital has played in our lives. They perform miracles here every day, like our son Brodie who, if weren’t for them, we would have lost at 12 days old. We spent 7+ months living between ICU and the ward and they did everything they could to make it feel like home. Brodie was put on a life saving equipment, whilst awaiting a heart transplant. He was one of the smallest babies to ever be put on this machine, but that’s why RCH are so amazing! They do the things that no one else has done before because they will do ANYTHING in their power to save your child’s life. Brodie is now home, happy and healthy. Doing all the things a cheeky toddler does and we couldn’t be more grateful. It takes a special kind of person to work at RCH and we want to give back in any way we can.
